Notes: For tape brands, I've switched to the KAO Golds exclusively. They're the best tape I've used so far and that's what my preference is. I'm consistently seeing error counts below 0010. If we're trading I'll accept other brands but I don't want the once used tapes or unlabeled media. Labeled tape only please, and my preference is for Sony (no orange hubs), Maxell, Ampex or Panasonic. Lately I've run across some really crappy unlabeled tapes that were claimed to be KAO. They gunked my heads so horribly I needed to have both of them serviced (I attempted to clone the tape in 3 decks, all resulted in error counts in excess of 6000).
